Matthias Bieber

Matthias Bieber ( born March 14, 1986 in Zurich ) is a Swiss ice hockey player standing since 2010 with the Kloten Flyers in the National League A under contract.

Career

Matthias Bieber began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of the GCK Lions, for their first team, he was active in the National League B 2002-2007. From the 2004/05 season he played in parallel also for the ZSC Lions in the National League A. From 2007 to 2010 the winger for the NLA participants SCL Tigers ran on. For the 2010/11 season he moved once more within the NLA, this time to the Kloten Flyers.

Internationally

For Switzerland Bieber took part in the junior level at the U18 World Junior Championships Division I 2004 and the U20 World Junior Championships in 2005 and 2006. In the senior level, he stood in his country's squad at the World Championships in 2011 and 2012.

At the World Championships in 2013 in Stockholm and Helsinki, he was again part of the national team and won the silver medal with this.
