Matthias Dießl

Matthias Dießl (December 6, 1975 in Fürth ) is a Bavarian local politician (CSU ). He is Chief Executive of the Central Franconian district of Fürth.

Career

After graduating from high school in 1995 at Wolfgang Borchert -Gymnasium in Langenzenn Dießl was educated between 1996 and 1998 in the city of Fürth Savings Bank as a banker. The following two years he worked in the Fürth branch of the bank as a client advisor and assistant to the branch manager. In autumn 2000, he moved to the department for company loans from July 2002 and was a consultant for existence and start-ups. He completed between 1998 and 2004 at the University of Hagen a degree in Business Administration, from which he graduated as Diplom- Kaufmann.

His political career began Dießl at the Junge Union in Seukendorf, as the local chairman, he served from 1997 to 2000. He then moved to the top of Seukendorfer local branch of the CSU. In the local elections in the spring of 2002 he was elected mayor of his hometown and 3 took over in council of the district of Fürth first political mandate. 2005 him the CSU district association Fürth- country elected as its Chairman and in 2007 he took over in the shadow of Landrätin Gabriele Pauli chaired the CSU council fraction.

According to Pauli's announcement in March 2006 not to stand again as a district candidate available Dießl was nominated by the CSU. In the municipal election on March 2, 2008, he sat down with 50.31 % of the vote against his challenger by.
