Matthias Heidrich

Matthias Heidrich ( born December 10, 1977 in Hoyerswerda ) is a German football player.

Career

Heidrich began in the Oberliga West (South) at FSV Hoyerswerda. Between 2000 and 2005 he played for FC Erzgebirge Aue, with which he rose after three years in the Regionalliga Nord in the 2nd Bundesliga. After two more years in Aue he went to league rivals Alemannia Aachen, the promotion to the top flight in the 2005/06 season. Heidrich was elected there shortly after he joined the team committee.

After playing for Aachen in the 2nd Bundesliga only 13 times, he also came to the rise in the Bundesliga, only ten times used. The season ended with the re- direct descent of Aachen.

The Defensive Allrounder moved to season 2007/ 08 by second division Alemannia Aachen promoted VfL Osnabrück, where he received a three-year contract. In midfield he could establish itself as a regular player. After the descent of the Osnabrück 2011 in the 3rd League Heidrich joined Wacker Burghausen. There his contract was not renewed in the summer of 2013.
