Matthias Lanzinger

Matthias Lanzinger ( born December 9, 1980 in Abtenau, Salzburg) is an Austrian alpine skier. He was Junior World Champion and two-time Austrian champion, won in the season 2003/2004 the overall standings of the European Cup and reached the podium in the World Cup before a bad fall in March 2008, who had an amputation of the left leg result, his athletic career interrupted. Career

Matthias Lanzinger was at the age of three, for the first time on skis and drove the age of five at the local ski club Abtenau his first children's race.
