Matthias Leupold

Matthias Leupold (* 1959 in Berlin ) is a German photographer and university lecturer.

Life and work

Matthias Leupold has worked since 1985 as a freelance photographer in the fields of art and media and industry. He studied at the University of the Arts ( Hochschule der Künste ) in Berlin (now University of the Arts ) Visual Communication with the Diplom - Designer and master students. He is in Berlin professor of art photography and digital imaging media at the btk Berlin Technical Art School and, since 2007, its rector.

Photography and film fascinate Matthias Leupold alike. Consequently, the scenic photograph is his means of artistic expression.
