Matthias Maucksch ( born June 11, 1969 in Dresden ) is a former German football player and current coach.

Career as a player

Association

Matthias Maucksch began the age of seven at Dynamo Dresden playing football. His biggest success in the youth field was winning the GDR students master 1984. Having made ​​his debut in 1987 in the GDR Oberliga denied Maucksch won the East German championship with Dynamo in 1989 and 1990. After the German reunification, he played for the Dresden in the 1st Bundesliga. His total of 118 Bundesliga appearances for Dynamo are currently club record.
