Matthias Wolfes

Matthias Wolf ( born August 28, 1961 in Buchholz in der Heide Nord ) is a Protestant theologian.

Life

His studies in theology and philosophy graduated in 1989 from the wolf with the Ecclesiastical Exam and Diploma. After Vicariate and the promotion involved with various research projects at the Humboldt University of Berlin, the University of Kiel and the Herzog August Library in Wolfenbüttel followed. Since 2000 he has worked as a university lecturer and Church service.

The focus of his publications that the recent history of Protestant theology. He has published on cultural Protestantism during the Weimar period and Friedrich Schleiermacher Larger plants. Other areas of work include the dogmatic doctrine of God and the theory of religion. It belongs to the " Theological Colloquium Berlin " and the Dresden workshop " Religion and symbolic communication " and is a frequent contributor to the "Göttingen sermons on the internet ".
