Mattia Sbragia
Mattia Sbragia ( born April 17, 1952 in Rome ) is an Italian actor.
Life
Mattia Sbragia is the son of Giancarlo Sbragias and Esmeralda Ruspoli, who were both also actors. He made his debut in the 1974 film nipoti miei Diletti; from then on he played regularly with in Italian productions. Since the 1990s, Sbragia also received roles in internationally renowned productions such as The Count of Monte Cristo (1998). In 2004 he took over the role of Caiaphas in The Passion of the Christ, a priest who was involved in the death of Jesus decisively.
