Mattias Tedenby

Mattias Tedenby (born 21 February 1990 in Vetlanda ) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player standing since 2010 with the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Mattias Tedenby has played in the Youth for HV71, for the first team, he made his debut in the Elitserien during the 2007 /08 season. Even in his rookie year, the attacker was first with his team Swedish Champion. He was then selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2008 in the first round than a total of 24 players from the New Jersey Devils. In addition, he was selected in the first draft of the Continental Junior Hockey League in the summer of 2009 in the second round in 40th place Atlant Mytischtschi, which thus secured his transfer rights upon a change in the KHL.

First, Tedenby standing in the 2008/ 09 season in 32 games the main round, as well as in 18 playoff games for Jönköping on the ice, with which he again reached the finals. There, the attacker was defeated with his team against Färjestad BK. He also scored a goal in two games in the Champions Hockey League, for which had HV71 qualified by the title in the preseason.

For the 2010/11 season Tedenby moved to North America, first played in the farm team of the New Jersey Devils, the Albany Devils in the American Hockey League. After good performances, he was appointed during the season in the NHL squad of the New Jersey Devils.

Internationally

For Sweden Tedenby took part in the junior level at the U18 World Junior Championships in 2007 and 2008 and the U20 World Junior Championships in 2009 and 2010. In the senior level, he stood for the first time at the World Cup 2011 in the squad of his country and won with his team immediately awarded the silver medal.
