Maude Adams

Maude Adams Maude Ewing Adams actually Kiskadden ( born November 11, 1872 in Salt Lake City, Utah; † July 17, 1953 in Tannersville, New York) was an American stage actress at the beginning of the 20th century. Your signature role was that of Peter Pan, a literary figure of Sir James Matthew Barrie.

Life

Kiskadden Maude was the daughter of the banker John Henry and his wife Kiskadden Asaneth Ann "Annie" Adams, one of the leading ladies in the Salt Lake City company. At the age of nine months she first stood on the stage. It was sponsored by the New York theater producer Charles Frohman, who occupied the role of Peter Pan in his eponymous work with her. Rumors that Frohman and Adams got married secretly, has commented none of them and have never been confirmed.
