Maura Viceconte

Maura Vice Conte ( born October 3, 1967 in Susa ) is an Italian long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon.

In 1995, she won the Venice Marathon and the 1997 Monaco Marathon.

In a marathon of the European Athletics Championships 1998 in Budapest, she won bronze behind Maria Manuela Machado ( POR) and Madina Biktagirowa (RUS ).

At the Vienna City Marathon 2000 she exhibited at both the current course record as well as the former Italian national record with 2:23:47. Further victories reach her ​​at Rome Marathon (1999) and the Prague Marathon ( 2002).
