Maureen McCormick

Maureen McCormick (* August 5, 1956 in Los Angeles ) is an American actress.

Life and achievements

McCormick won as a child of six competition Baby Miss San Fernando Valley, after which she appeared in television advertising and in numerous television series. Among others, she was seen in a witch in the years 1964 and 1965 in two episodes of the TV series Love. In the years 1969 to 1974 she appeared as Marcia Brady in 117 episodes of the TV series Three girls and three boys, 40 episodes were not shown by ZDF. For this role she was nominated in 2005 and 2007 retrospectively for the TV Land Award; In 2007, she received together with the other participants, the Pop Culture Award.

The first role in a feature film about McCormick took on the side of John Savage and Kathleen Quinlan in the TV drama The Turning Point of Jim Malloy of 1975 in Western Pony Express Rider ( 1976), she played one of the major roles; larger roles she portrayed in the film drama Takedown (1979 ), in the comedy Skate Town, USA (1979) and in the action film Texas Lightning ( 1981). In the film drama Dogtown (1997) she played alongside Trevor St. John and Mary Stuart Masterson.

McCormick is married to actor Michael Cummings since 1985 and has a daughter born in 1989.
