Maurice Wignall

Maurice Wignall ( born April 17, 1976 Saint Andrew Parish ) is a Jamaican hurdler.

At the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004 he finished fourth in the 110- meter hurdles. At the World Indoor Championships 2004, he won the bronze medal over 60 meters hurdles. His greatest successes he won at the Commonwealth Games, where he won the 2002 bronze and 2006 gold over 110 meters hurdles.

Wignall won at the national championships in 1997, 1999 and 2001-2005. His best performance over 110 meters hurdles stands at 13.17 s, which he reached the semi-finals of the 2004 Olympic Games. In the long jump his best jump is 8.09 meters since 1997.
