Life

In the late 1980s, still rather fond of the ghetto beats, he reached the final of the 1988 DMC competition before it rises in the early '90s in the dance scene. In 1995 he founded his own label with BXR (which should be in the aftermath of one of the greatest Italian dance labels ) and is henceforth one of the fathers and constant reference for the Italian electronic scene. With the growing success next to the BXR label the sub-labels Underground Records and Sacrifice Records were founded. Well-known artists were present, among others, Mario Piu ' (aka DJ Arabesque ), to name Athos Botti, Gabry Fasano, Franchino, Massimo Cominotto, Bismark or Ricky Effe a few. His Meganite sessions are one of the biggest events in the world. Appearances in Miami & Ibiza ( in Space since 2010) are just a few highlights from the fans.

In addition to the Italian trio Eiffel 65, which also come from Turin, DJ Lhasa and Gigi D'Agostino Mauro Picotto became particularly from the year 2000 of the top DJs in the Italian music scene. He held, with the trance track Komodo (Save A Soul ) in 2000, his greatest single success. It contains a quote from the song " Sweet Lullaby " by Deep Forest from the year 1994.

Its blend of club and techno beats makes him the artist of his genre. Mauro Picotto cooperated with several other trance DJs including Tiësto and Mario Più. He also worked as a producer and remixer for other projects, such as Cappella and 49ers. Together with Andrea Remondini he also had several chart hits with the music project CRW. Style

Especially in the songs Lizard ( Gonna Get You) and Serendipity ( with Mario Piu aka DJ Arabesque ) next rhythm, bass and beats many Vibez are mixes that evoke a gloomy and partly characteristic of the scene sequence of overlays. These overlays vary between short and long rhythmic and melodic motifs in his songs. In his early years he was rather attributable to the progressive Techno, until he vornehmend oriented end of the nineties, only at the club techno scene.

Overall, composed and (re) he mixes his songs in the classic techno tempo 130-200 bpm, yet some songs reach far higher bpm numbers than usual. The best example of an exaggerated use of Beats offers its new edition Iguana 2004. Weekly it appears on the Ibiza party session, mixes and sets plates and meets other techno representative.
