Mauro Santambrogio

Mauro Santambrogio ( born October 7, 1984 in Erba ) is an Italian racing cyclist.

Career

Mauro Santambrogio began his professional career in 2004 with the Italian cycling team LPR Piacenza. The following year he took part in the UCI Europe Tour, where he won the Swiss one-day race Giro del Lago Maggiore for themselves. In 2006, Santambrogio in the Italian ProTour team Lampre, in whose service he - after a short detour to the team Tenax - until the end of 2009 stood again. From 2010 Santambrogio Team takes for the BMC Racing.

In 2008 he finished the Vuelta a España, his first three-week tour of the country.
