Max Deutsch

Max German ( born November 17, 1892 in Vienna, † 22 November 1982 in Paris) was a French composer, conductor and music teacher Jewish- Austrian origin.

He was a student of Arnold Schoenberg, founded in 1925 The Yiddish theater mirror in Paris and brought many works of Schoenberg, Webern and Berg in France for the first time to the performance. From 1940 to 1945 he fought in the Foreign Legion. Later, he held an important teaching in Paris. He also served as a teacher of Heinz- Klaus Metzger from 1975 to 1980 by Amaury du closel.
