Max Hofmeister

Career

Max Hofmeister played at WSV Donawitz in the Styrian league. The League was then aligned on amateur basis and was not related to the professional Austrian championship in connection, limited at that time only on the Wiener space. However, with the mining city dwellers, the runners had mostly defeated in the championship Grazer team. Max Hofmeister occurred in all four games of the Austrians in Berlin on the left rotor position for use with the team and reached the Olympic final, where they defeated 2-1 in extra time but with the Italian representatives.

In the years after the Second World War Hofmeister played at SK Hertha Wels, before he ended his career as player-coach at ATSV Sattledt.
