Max McGee

William Max McGee (* July 16, 1932 in Saxton City, Nevada, † 20 October, 2007 Deephaven, Minnesota) was an American football player.

McGee began to Tulane at college with football. He played for the Green Bay Packers from 1954 to 1967. He scored the first touchdown in the first Super Bowl the history of the National Football League in January 1967 at 35:10 Success of the Green Bay Packers under coach Vince Lombardi against the Kansas City Chiefs.

When diabetes was diagnosed in his youngest son Dallas, founded in 1999, the National McGee Max McGee Research Center for Juvenile Diabetes.

After his career, he was from 1979 to 1998 worked as a radio reporter.

McGee died when he fell off his house roof because he wanted there to remove leaves. He was 75 years old. He is survived by his wife Denise, four children and seven grandchildren
