Max Planck Institute of Economics

The Max Planck Institute of Economics (formerly Max Planck Institute for Research into Economic Systems ) is a company located in the Thuringian city of Jena non-university research institution. That the Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science ( MPG) belonging Institute was originally founded in 1993 under Manfred E. Streit, to explore the transformation of the former socialist economies. It now deals with general basic research in the field of economics.
