Max Reinhart

Maxwell Reinhart ( born February 4, 1992 North Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who plays for the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League under contract and in parallel for the AHL farm team in Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League. He is the son of former NHL pros Paul Reinhart. His brothers Griffin and Sam are also hockey players.

Reinhart was the WHL Bantam Draft in 2007 elected to 86th position of the Kootenay Ice, for whom he played from 2008 in the Western Hockey League. NHL Entry Draft 2010 he was selected in the third round to 64th place by the Calgary Flames. In the 2010/11 season Reinhart won with the Kootenay WHL Championship after he was top scorer in the playoffs with 15 goals. In July 2011 he signed a three -year contract with the Calgary Flames.

After completing his junior time he came in the 2012/13 season for the Abbotsford Heat, the farm team of the Flames, in the American Hockey League action. In April 2013 he was appointed to the cadre of the Flames, where he completed his first games in the National Hockey League. In the 2013/14 season he was appointed to the NHL squad again in November 2013.


Reinhart took for the Team Canada Pacific participated in the World U -17 Hockey Challenge in 2010 and won with his team the silver medal. For Canada, he played in the U18 World Cup in 2010 and was there with 39 penalty minutes in six games leading the penalty score.
