Max Roqueta

Max Rouquette ( born December 8, 1908 in Argelliers; † 22 June 2005 in Montpellier) was a French writer Occitan. On the Occitan language he was called Max Roqueta [ matz ruketo ].

Rouquette played an invaluable role in the preservation of the Occitan culture and literature.
