Max Schautzer

Max Herbert Schautzer ( born August 14, 1940 in Klagenfurt) is an Austrian moderator.

Life

After graduation in 1958 at the Business Academy in Klagenfurt and subsequent military service Schautzer studied from 1959 to 1962 economics, without, however, obtain an equivalent degree. Then Schautzer attended acting school at the Vienna Conservatory.

The career as a presenter, speaker and writer for radio and television in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg began in 1965 with the WDR radio in Cologne. There he worked as an announcer in the studio and as emcee of public broadcasting events. Hans Rosenthal took him as a reporter in Germany 's far radiated radio series " must be fun ." 1967 brought him Werner Höfer to television. Schautzer moderated numerous different types of program formats throughout his career.
