Max Wegner

Max Wegner (born 24 March 1989 Luebbecke ) is a German footballer who plays at Werder Bremen is currently under contract, where he mostly is used in one's own U23.

Career

Max Wegner played until the age of sixteen years in the North Rhine -Westphalian Luebbecke and neighboring Hüllhorst before 2005 with Arminia Bielefeld joined a more notable club. After two years in Westphalia, he moved in the last junior year to Hannover 96, where he played in the A- youth - Bundesliga North / Northeast.

His first year seniors in the U -23 was unsatisfactory and he only played four times in the Regionalliga Nord. In 2009 he moved to league rivals SV Wilhelmshaven, where he was a regular in spite of serious injury. In the first year a torn tendon forced him in the thigh in a prolonged winter break.
