Max Werner

Max Werner ( born December 29, 1953 in Hilversum ), also occasionally known as Max Werlerofzoiets, is a Dutch singer and drummer.

Biography

Max Werner was eight years singer and drummer of the Dutch progressive rock group Kayak, before in 1979 he released his first solo album " Rainbows End " brought out. In 1981 the album " Seasons ". The single from the Rain in May became his most popular song. She reached in the fall of 1981 Rank 2 in the German charts and stayed a total of 23 weeks in the charts. Roadrunner ( 1983 ) was another minor hit from him. In 1995 he released his last solo album "Not the Opera ".

In 2000 Max Werner returned to the reformed group Kayak, which had been dissolved in 1981, back to accommodate the CD "Close to the Fire". However, in the autumn of that year he had to leave the group again for health reasons.
