Maximaphily

In Maximaphily or maximum Philately is a private collection area around maximum cards. It is a fusion of the collections stamp, postcard and postmark. The term Maximaphily is the common name variations in various other languages. The collecting of maximum cards was early in France, Belgium and the United States popular in many other countries, the collection area was later more widely. It can be collected by various criteria, such as by topic, subject, or by nation. The Fédération Internationale de Philately has its own Commission for Maximaphily.
