Maximilian Mechler

Maximilian Mechler ( born January 3, 1984 in Isny ) is a German ski jumper. Mechler is sports soldier in the German army and member of the WSV Isny. His greatest achievement is winning the silver medal with the German team at the Ski Flying World Championships 2012 in Vikersund.

Career

Mechler met for the first time on 1 January 2000 in Garmisch -Partenkirchen at the Four Hills Tournament at the international level. At the Junior World Championship 2001 in Karpacz Szklarska he jumped with the team to third place. In the same year he was at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Vuokatti Second on the normal hill. His best individual result he won the World Cup in Trondheim in 2003 with third place.
