Maximilian Nicu (2009)

Maximilian Nicu ( born November 25, 1982 in Prien am Chiemsee ) is a German - Romanian football player.

The midfielder is a Romanian national team and played in four seasons with a team of the German Bundesliga. Most recently, he played for TSV 1860 Munich in the Bundesliga 2.

Career

In youth, Maximilian Nicu played at the TuS Prien, TSV 1860 Rosenheim and SpVgg Unterhaching. The Hachingern he made in 2002 made ​​it into the first team that played in the Regionalliga Süd. He played in the 2002/03 season 23 games for the club, in which he scored two goals.

The SpVgg Unterhaching rose in 2003 as Regional - Südmeister to the 2nd Bundesliga, where Nicu then, however, no longer came to the course. Without having a second division game denied he joined in February 2004 back to the Regionalliga for FC Rot -Weiß Erfurt. In the Thuringians, he played 13 games in the second half and managed to re- promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. However, he was not considered for the Erfurt squad of 2004/05 season.

After half a year Vereinslosigkeit Nicu signed on 1 January 2005 a contract with the Hessian SV labor, who played in the Regionalliga Süd. There he won a regular place immediately and was in the 2005/06 season with 16 goals scorer Südstaffel, a title he shared with Christian Okpala from promoted FC Augsburg. Then Nicu has been committed by the second division Wacker Burghausen, where he was a regular in the 2006/07 season. After the descent of Burghausen in 2007 he returned to Wehen, with whom he played in the 2007/ 08 season in the 2nd Bundesliga. From 2008 to 2010 Nicu played at first division club Hertha BSC, after the descent did not pull Hertha an option, click Next and commitment Nicu moved to Bundesliga side SC Freiburg free transfer. After 23 missions Bundesliga in his first season in Freiburg, he had come in the first round of the 2011/12 season only to four inserts. End of January 2012 moved Nicu free transfer to the second division club TSV 1860 Munich; he received a contract until the end of the season. His first international goal he scored on 16 September 2008 at the UEFA Cup against St Patrick's Athletic. His first Bundesliga goal he scored 18 October 2008 against VfB Stuttgart.

National

After his impressive performances in the Bundesliga Romania coach Victor Piţurcă became aware of Nicu. However, since this did not have Romanian citizenship, he had to apply first and got it issued on 17 March 2009. He was also appointed even before the official grant for the World Cup qualifier against Serbia.
