Maximilian Reinelt

Maximilian Reinelt ( born August 24, 1988 in Ulm ) is a German rower and since the 2010 season, a member of Germany rowing eight.

Reinelt, 2006 was the first time a member of the national team at the Junior World Championships, he finished eighth in the second place. Then he won at the German U-23 Championships from 2007, three years in a row and the eighth in 2007 and 2008, the four with coxswain. Because of these successes, he has been nominated every year for the U23 World Championships, where he finished with the German U23 - eight in 2008 to fourth place, 2007 and 2009, he came runner-up.

Parallel to this was Reinelt 2008 and 2009, also at the European Championships at the start. 2010 he was appointed Ralf Holt Meyer in Germany aft. His home club is the Ulm Danube Rowing Club.

In the 2012 Olympics he won the gold medal in London with the aft Germany.

The World Rowing Championships in 2013 he won a silver medal, behind the United Kingdom and ahead of the United States.
