May Mahlangu

May Mahlangu ( born May 1, 1989 in Secunda, Mpumalanga) is a South African football player. The attacking midfielder won with Helsingborgs IF the Swedish championship and the national cup.

Career

Mahlangu played in his youth in the soccer academy Stars of Africa in his home country. Due to an initiated in the same year co-operation with the Swedish club Helsingborgs IF he came in the summer of 2008 to Northern Europe, coach Bo Nilsson led directly but a lending transaction with IFK Hässleholm. For the antretenden in amateur club he made his debut in August of the year in the fourth division Division 2 After a winter stay in his home country became Mahlangu at the beginning of the following year for stem force so that Helsingborgs IF brought him back in July 2009. Also in the Allsvenskan he played himself into the starting lineup and therefore decided in September of this year, to waive participation in the U- 20 World Cup 2009. In the season of 2010, he wavered between starting and bench, ultimately, he played 19 league games for the club. As a runner-up behind Malmö FF, he moved with the team to a final of the National Cup against second division club Hammarby IF. On the side of Erik Sundin, Marcus Lantz, Alexander Gerndt and Erik Edman he brought to it by a goal from Rasmus Jönsson after 80 minutes of play for the title.

In the season of 2011, Mahlangu established under coach Conny Karlsson as the undisputed master of his offensive players in the club. From the fifth matchday of the table top, he also contributed as a scorer to win the league title, which had been decided at the fourth- last game.
