Mayakovsky Theatre

The Moscow Academic Mayakovsky Theatre (Russian Московский Академический Театр имени Вл.Маяковского ), named after Vladimir Mayakovsky, is a straight theater in Moscow. It offers Drama Theatre after pieces of Alexander Ostrovsky and Leo Tolstoy and performances independent private theater companies. The theater has 1067 seats. Until 1943 it was known as theater of the revolution.
