Meydan Ekbaz, Midan Ikbaz, Maydan al - Midan Akpas or Akbes (Arabic ميدان أكبس, DMG Maidan Akbas ) is the name of a border town ( small town ) and a train station on the northwestern Syrian- Turkish border ( Baghdad Railway ). The Kurdish place, actually a pass between Kurd Dagh ( Kurdish mountain) and Amano Mountains, is of great historical value. Meydan Akpas belongs to the municipality Rajo, Afrin district, governorate of Aleppo in Syria.
