Maysville is a city in Mason County in the northeastern part of the U.S. state of Kentucky. According to the census of 2000, there were 8993 inhabitants in the city. The small town is also the administrative center ( county seat ) of Mason County.

History

Around 1780 founded as a river port at the confluence of Limestone Creek and the Ohio River.
