Mazda Taiki (2008)

The Mazda Taiki is a concept car from Mazda and the fourth copy of the Nagare design series. Mazda says the Taiki " shows a possible direction of future Mazda sports car, which will help to shape a desirable society."

Drive

The Taiki has a front -mounted engine driving the rear wheels. It is a Renesis 2 -rotor Wankel engine 16X the next generation in conjunction with a 7 -stage dual clutch transmission. The 16X engine will replace the current in the RX-8 13B- built engine.

Outside amenities

The exterior design was inspired by flowing dresses. The Taiki has scissor doors and the very impressive drag coefficient of 0.25. Even the wheels and tires were designed with aerodynamics in mind.

Interior decoration

The interior colors are inspired by Yin and Yang. The driver's side is black and the passenger side white.
