Mbinga District

Mbinga is one of five districts of the Ruvuma Region in Tanzania. In the north it is bounded by the Iringa Region, to the east by both Songea Rural and Songea Urban by, on the south by Mozambique and finally to the west by Lake Malawi.

The district had 404 799 inhabitants in 2002. The Catholic Diocese Mbinga in the district is in a partnership with the Diocese of Würzburg since 1987. Coffee from small farmers is " Würzburg eV partner coffee " about the club sold in Germany with the help of the GEPA.
