The Mbum is an Adamawa language of Cameroon, which is spoken by about 51,000 people.
The speakers are mostly Bilingual with French, some - especially older people - can be used as a second language, the Fulfulde. The language is also known as Buna Mboum, Mboumtiba and Wuna.
The standard dialect of the language is the Gbete dialect.
