MC Shan

MC Shan ( born as Shawn Moltke ) is an American rapper and music producer. He was a member of the Juice Crew and is the cousin of Marley Marl. He is assigned to the genre Old School.

Career

As a cousin of Marley Marl the opportunity part of the Juice Crew was found to be for him. This he seized and published it after several singles. Among today as classics in force The Bridge, which is seen as the starting point of the beefs between Boogie Down Productions and the Juice Crew ( See: The Bridge Wars ).

In 1987, he released his debut album Down By Law. It was just like the in the following year published successor Born To Be Wild completely produced by Marley Marl. This he changed for his next album, Play It Again, Shan, for which he worked with a new producer.
