McLaren Group
The McLaren Group (until 2003 TAG McLaren Group) is a group of companies founded in 1985, which was built by Ron Dennis to the Formula 1 team McLaren.
Since 2010, the shareholders are the 30 % Mumtalakat Holding Company of the State of Bahrain, each with 15 % Ron Dennis and Mansour Ojjeh, the owner of TAG, and to around 29 % McLaren Group itself The remaining 11% are still in the owned by Daimler AG, which had previously held 40%, but their share after the takeover of Brawn GP and starting their own formula 1 team reduced.
In January 2012, Daimler AG has its remaining share of 16 % completely sold back to the McLaren Group. Consequently keep Ron Dennis and the TAG group now 25% of the shares, the remaining 50 % controlled by the Mumtalakat Holding Company of the State of Bahrain.
