Mead Valley is a census -designated place in Riverside County in the U.S. state of California. The municipality has 18,510 inhabitants ( 2010).

Geography

Mead Valley is located in western Riverside counties in California, between the towns of Woodcrest and Perris. To the north are the two major cities of Riverside and Moreno Valley. With the Lake Mathews and Lake Perris are also not far away two reservoirs.

The 18,510 residents of the municipality (as of 2010 census ) live in an area of approximately 49.6 km ², composed entirely of the country. Thus, the population density is 372.8 inhabitants per square kilometer. The center is located at an altitude of 507 meters.

Mead Valley is part of the 31st district in the Senate of California, which is currently represented by Democrat Richard Roth. In the California State Assembly, the place is assigned to the 61st district, and is therefore represented by Democrat Jose Medina. At the federal level Mead Valley of California is one of 41 congressional district, a Cook Partisan Voting Index of D 9 and is represented by Democrat has Mark Takano.
