Meander (mythology)
Maeander (Greek Μαίανδρος ) In Greek mythology, the deity of the river meanders.
Maiandros appears already in the river catalog of Hesiod .. He is the son of Oceanus and Tethys. His daughter Kyanee is the mother of twins Byblis and Caunos. Sons of Maiandros are Kalamos and Marsyas.
