Meatballs & Spaghetti

Meatball and spaghetti is an American animated series from 1982 by Fred Silverman and Jerry Eisenberg, written by Jack Mendelsohn.

Content

The series is about a four-piece rock band consisting of meatball (guitar and vocals), spaghetti ( vocals and keyboards ), Klaus (guitar) and the dog Wusel (drums), who travel with their tour bus through the country and different adventure. At the end of each episode, a music video can be seen with a song of the band.

Production and publication

The series was produced in 1982 and 1983 under the direction of Bob Richardson of Intermedia Entertainment Company, Pan Sang East and Marvel Productions. The music was composed by Steve DePatie, for the cut Robert T. Gillis was responsible.

The first broadcast took place from 18 September 1982 CBS in the United States. MGM / UA Television drove the series worldwide. The German premiere took place in 1990 in Hesse 3 instead. This was followed by reps in the MDR, Bavarian Radio and later private channels.
