Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Cup
The Mecklenburg- Vorpommern Cup is the National Cup Football Football Federation of the country Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. According to its sponsor, the Krombacher Brewery, the trophy of the men is referred to since the season 2010/11 as Krombacher National Cup, while the women's competition the title Polytan Cup carries.
Participants in the host teams for men are respectively the first teams of third -, regional -, upper -, association and country division of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. There are also clubs in the lower leagues who qualify to take two in the season 2010/11 inaugural national class trophies for the National Cup. The winner of the national cup is entitled to participate in the DFB Cup. Record winner is FC Schönberg 95 to have won the trophy seven times.
