MEDA Pharma is a pharmaceutical company headquartered in Solna (Sweden). The company operates in 50 countries with own subsidiaries active.

A German branch office is located in Bad Homburg and goes back to a 1920 founded company of pharmacists Adolf Rüdiger and Arthur Abelmann, another arose from a successor company of the pharmaceutical plant in Dresden Radebeul.

The Group acquired in 2008 divisions of the Canadian pharmaceutical company Valeant in Western and Eastern Europe for 392 million U.S. dollars.
