Medal of Heroism (Czech Republic)

The medal for heroism ( cz. MEDAL Za hrdinství ) of the Czech Republic was donated by law 404/90 on 2 October 1990 by the Czech parliament in one stage. They are awarded to all those who have saved other people risked their own lives in danger to life or salvaged goods of significant economic value risk their lives or saved from worse damage. The Medal of Honor is presented to the Beliehenen by the President or his authorized representative in a festive act together with certificate.

Stylish look and manner

The existing silver medal with a diameter of 33 mm shows on their obverse the Bohemian lion and including the two-line inscription Za hrdinství ( for heroism ). The reverse displays the large national emblem of the Czech Republic and including embarked ceremony digit. It is supported medal at the 38 mm wide tape in original size only on festive occasions at the upper left chest.
