Medard W. Welch Award

The Medard W. Welch Award is a Physics Prize of the American Vacuum Society ( AVS) and has been awarded since 1970.

He was the founder of the AVS, M. W. Welch, named and goes to those who for 10 years reached extraordinary achievements in the field of theoretical or experimental research.
