Mehdi Sohrabi

Mahdi Sohrabi (Arabic سهرابی مهدی; born October 12, 1981) is an Iranian cyclist.

Sohrabi began his career in 2005 in cycling team Paykan. He was in his first season of Iranian national time trial champion and road races. In the overall ranking of the UCI Asia Tour 2005, he finished in seventh place. A year later he made it under the top ten and finished eighth. In the Asian Games 2006 in Doha Sohrabi occupied in the road race in second place behind the winner Wong Kam Po. After that, he still won a second silver medal with his fellow men in the team pursuit, and bronze with Amir Zargari in Madison. At the beginning of 2007, Sohrabi won the one-week stage race Jelajah Malaysia.
