Mehmet Al began with the club football in the youth department of 7 Eylül İdman Yurdu. From here, he joined in the summer of 1998 in the youth of Bursaspor. As of the 2000 /01 season you ermöglichste him next to his Tätogkeit in the reserve team, even with the professionals to train with. By the time he was also taken in some league games of professionals in match squad and sat on the bench. He made his debut on 16 September 2000 against then Denizlispor. By the end of the season he came up with four league games. For the new season, he received a professional contract but played one season exclusively for the reserve team. 2002/ 03 they wanted to make him match practice in a professional league, and gave it to the third division Bursa Merinosspor. Here he played a season consistently. For the season 2003/ 04 he returned to Bursaspor and played regularly from now on for the pros. After his club failed end of the season to avoid relegation, Al went with his team in the TFF 1 Lig and went with this after two seasons as a master of TFF 1 Lig again in the Süper Lig on.
Al broke up after this success the club and moved to second division Eskişehirspor. After one season at his new club, he played three seasons with various second division.
For the season 2010/11 he moved to Çaykur Rizespor. In his new team he was able to immediately jump into the root formation. With his ten goals in 30 games he played a key role in helping his club to climb fought the Süper Lig until the last game. Here you had a disadvantage against Orduspor. At the end of the season 2012/13 they reached the rise over the runner-up of the TFF 1 Lig.
Since after the rise with Rizespor be summer 2013 expiring contract was not renewed, Al moved to the new second division Balikesirspor.
Mehmet Al began early on to play for the Turkish youth national teams. He went through from the U-15 all youth teams.
