Mehmet Batdal ( born February 24, 1986 in Izmir) is a Turkish football player.
Club career
Mehmet Batdal began with 13 years at Bucaspor his football career. At 19, the striker has been included in the first team. In his first season Batdal played 21 matches and scored two goals. In the season 2006/ 07 he came to 20 games and five goals. During the winter break of the 2007/08 season he was loaned to city rivals Altay Izmir. He then returned in the summer. With Bucaspor he succeeded in 2009, the rise of the 3rd Turkish League in the second league.
The following season was just as successful for him. He managed with Bucaspor the walkover in the Süper Lig Mehmet Batdal however had a major role in this success. In 30 games he scored 16 goals and was with Emmanuel Emenike of Kardemir Karabükspor second best scorer of the season 2009/10.
His contract expired at the end of the 2009/10 season, which is why the Turkish giants Galatasaray signed him a free transfer. He signed a three - year contract there. Batdal was awarded for the second half of 2010/11 to Konyaspor. Under Fatih Terim Batdal was loaned to Kardemir Karabükspor. Karabükspor broke the lending transaction, in December 2011. He returns to Galatasaray.
In the season 2012/13 he was loaned to his old club Bucaspor, Bucaspor also secured an option to purchase Batdal. For Bucaspor Batdal scored 12 goals in 33 games. After Batdal not taken for the training camp of Fatih Terim. The striker was allowed to leave the club free transfer and moved to Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor.
