Mehmet Oktav

Mehmet octave ( * 1917 in Istanbul, † 1996) was a Turkish wrestler.

For Turkey, he won at the Olympic Summer Games 1948 in London gold in Greco- Roman style. Octave was after Yaşar Erkan, who also won in 1936 in Berlin Olympic gold in wrestling, the second Turkish Olympic champion.
