Mehmood Ali
Mehmood (Hindi: मेहमूद, Mehmud, born September 23, 1932 in Bombay; † 23 July 2004 in Pennsylvania, USA; bourgeois Name: Mehmood Ali ) was Indian film actor, playback singer and film producer. He was known for his comic roles in Indian films. Mehmood has participated in over 300 films in three decades.
Some of his songs are: Ek chatur naar from Padosan, Aao Twist Karen (Let's do the twist ) from Bhoot Bangla, yeh do Deewane dil ke from Johar Mehmood in Goa and Hum kaale hai to kyaa huaa dilwaale hain ( What if I am dark, I have a heart) from Gumnaam.
Mehmoods son Lucky Ali is a popular singer who has also played in movies.
