The Mehner Bach, also known as Obermehner mill creek or simply mill creek, is a 9.0 km long stream, but also flows through the town of Prussian Oldendorf mainly by the East Westphalian city Luebbecke. He formed a longitudinal axis of the former municipality Blasheim, in which the farms and mills of the village are Mehner.

Course

The headwaters of the creek Mehner consists of two streams and is located in Wiehengebirge. The eastern brook springs near the summit of Bald waiting near the border to the municipality Hüllhorst, a western in an area which is called Gerliethe. Both source streams unite 300 meters south of the village Obermehnen. The Mehner creek flows generally north-northwest on through the Lübbecker Lößland, by the two eponymous places Obermehnen and Untermehnen, then Blasheim and Eikel and finally by the Hollwinkeler wood.
